Guess it's time to put up some pics, since I've been back 6 months (actually, I went again in Feb for 8 days, but didn't take any pics)!

I left Paris by train for 5 days on a side trip to the La Rochelle area. I stayed in a 17th century farm house in Nieul-sur-Mer, owned by Mme. Charlotte Degaille. She's a genealogy nut just like me, and a fantastically fascinating woman who has done much in her life.
While there, I went to La Rochelle, and the surrounding areas, eventually making my way to Verrières, the village my Fugère family originated from.
